• Question: have you ever helped with a STEM day with year 6?

      I have done a variety of STEM events for different age groups. I haven’t done a STEM day with year 6 yet, but I would be very happy to! I have spoken on several panels about careers in STEM and women in STEM to year 6 students at places like The Big Bang Fair.

      If you would like a scientist to come and speak to your school you can always talk to your teacher about this. There are lots of cool scientists out there, so your teachers can contact STEM Ambassadors and set up a visit with scientist in your area.

    Great advice!!! I might talk to our teachers at school to put forward this idea. It would be great for us to have a day in school where we could talk to some scientists telling them about the changes we could make to the environment but the only way we could do this is with the right frame of mind and a good but understandable work ethic. I think that it is great that you have participated in so many STEM days with lots of different years. I think that EMS could really use a day at our school to talk all about the changes we could make to our every day lives. You are so inspiring for me, pushing me to go beyond my own limits and that’s great, thank you.
