Question: have you invented something you want to share with the rest of humanity ?

I must admit that I haven’t! There are three main kinds of science, one that tries to understand how the world works, one that looks at how science relates human problems and one that tries to invent new things. The first kind of science tends to be called theoretical science, the second applied science and the third technology & innovation. I am more of a theoretical scientist, so I tend to come up with ideas more than invent new technology.

I really like to share my research with other people, but my research is more about explaining how plants and pollinators work rather than inventing a solution to a problem.
