• Question: on a scale of one to ten how dedicated are you to science ?

      probably 9.5. I love science and love my job, I also do a lot of science in my free time and watch nature documentaries etc, but I also love learning new things like pottery and Japanese.

      Tough to answer, I would say 9 I guess because I do love my work. But there are lots of different ways to work in science and I don’t know whether I’ll always be a researcher like I am now. I could move out of university and become a researcher for a private research company, I could become a journal editor and help choose scientific articles to publish, I could write about science and become a science journalist. There are lots of different ways to work in science.
