We lock away all our chemicals as they can be dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing, even water can be dangerous if used in the wrong way.

Well every chemical with have a classification code and hazard label, as well as a COSHH label, eg flammable, corrosive. All chemicals have to be stored accordingly. Even though the cupboard they are stored in might not be locked the lab is key card access only, 2 of these, before you get inside for safety reasons.
