Thats a good question, the key link between cars and raspberries is bee’s!

As you may know there are less and less bee’s about and we don’t know why!

One idea is that chemicals used to make fruit and vegetables grow better may be killing the bees, one is that the climate is changing meaning the bees aren’t in sync with the seasons. Then comes another key idea, air pollution (The nasty stuff from the back of cars). Air pollution is thought to destroy the smell trail (made of chemicals) that the bee’s follow to find their food meaning they don’t eat and die and at the same time they don’t pollinate the flowers meaning the flowers don’t produce fruit.

What we are trying to do is find out if the last idea is a good idea or whether it doesn’t really effect the bee’s and other ideas are more important.

In short: I like strawberries and i like cars so i need to find if cars are a problem as, if they are, i need to go and buy an electric car!
