• Question: what is your favourite lab

      We have a special microwave energy facility which I rely on heavily so that would be my favourite!

      That’s a hard question to answer. I have worked in a lot of different labs, so it’s hard to chose my favorite. Some labs are really small and focused on a specific project or challenge, and some labs in industry are huge and very diverse. I have researched everything from genes in plants, viruses, cancer, bacterial contamination in medication, and genetics. Working in a lab can be a lot of fun, as it’s very practical and hands-on which I really liked. My favorite was probably working in cancer, because I felt like I made a real different to peoples lives.
