I love trees! I like them because they are so fascinating. There are over 60,000 trees on our planet and they are all so different from each other with their leaf shape, bark colour and texture but also fruit and seed type. Trees can vary from the size of your thumb (the dwarf willow) to as big as 115 meters (the giant sequoia tree)! We need trees to provide us oxygen (the air we breathe) which is why they are so important for us to function! We also rely on them for timber to make houses and furniture, many foods and spices and lots of medicines! We need trees and I am so grateful to be able to work with them.
