I love that sunflowers are such a wonderful bright sight to see. They really do make you happier when you look at them. Sunflowers also provide many resources. Firstly they provide pollinators with food. We also get sunflower oil from sunflowers. Then lastly, when the flower has died, birds (and humans) love to eat their seeds. Sunflower seeds are high in nutrients and provide a delicious snack for birds when other food is difficult to find.

That’s a great question. I do like that sunflowers look very happy, and did you know their flower will tilt and follow the sun across the sky? Also, the arrangement of the sunflower feeds follows fibonacci numbers? It is amazing how much these special numbers occur in nature! https://www.thejoyofplants.co.uk/fibonacci-numbers-science-plants
      .
I also love sunflower seeds, and they are an excellent source of nutrients and are a vital food source to many species of bird and animal.
      Why do you like sunflowers?
