Question: What was the best part of growing up on the farm?

I think the best part of growing up on a farm would be being surrounded by nature. You have a lot of freedom to play outside and explore, you can make a lot of noise if you want because you don’t have neighbors, you can also have a lot of pets. So I was lucky enough to have a pony. But life on a hard is also hard, you need to come home from school and go to work on the farm for a few hours every day, event when it is raining or cold. It is also really hard when animals become sick and die, but you try and give them the best life possible and appreciate that life is a cycle, because there is always lots of cute baby animals too.
I loved working with animals and understanding their behavior and biology, I learned a lot about genetics through curiosity, why did two brown chickens produce one white chick and the rest are brown? I think that curiosity was what led me to science.
