I need lots of plants for my experiments. The experiment I’m doing at the moment means I have to put lots of different plants outside at lots of different times of the year, so I can see which insects visit them to pollinate them.

Because I need lots of plants, I need to grow lots of them. But I don’t want to grow them outside, because an important part of experiments is that everything needs to be controlled. Therefore I need to make sure all the plants had the same environmental conditions (same heat, same water) when they were growing. I couldn’t do this outside, so I grow them in the greenhouse.
